Stellarview Private Limited (“Stellarview”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 204, 2nd Floor, Springs Plaza, NIBM Road, Kondhwa, Pune 411048, Maharashtra, India (CIN: to be confirmed).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit stellarview.ai (the “Website”), submit a form, download a document, apply for a role, or otherwise interact with us through the Website. It is written to meet the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, together with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
What this policy does not cover. Stellarview designs and manufactures cameras and software (including Recon, EdgeTrack, GateGuard, GateGuard Connect and AI Search) that are deployed and operated by our customers: highway authorities, toll concessionaires, city police and municipal bodies, system integrators, and residential or commercial premises. Data captured by those products on public roads and premises, such as vehicle images, number plates and evidence clips, is collected and used by the deploying organisation for its own purposes under its own contract with us. In those deployments Stellarview acts as a Data Processor on the instructions of that organisation. See Section 12 for how to raise a request about that data.

c) Information from other sources
We do not buy personal data. If a Stellarview partner or reseller introduces you to us, they may pass on your business contact details with your knowledge.
Under the DPDP Act we process personal data either with your consent, or for a “legitimate use” recognised by the Act, such as responding to a request you voluntarily made to us or complying with the law.

The Website uses three categories of cookies and similar technologies:
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer or through your browser settings. We remember your choice for 6 months.
We share personal data only as described here. We do not sell it.
Our primary systems are located in India. Some of our service providers store or access data outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. The DPDP Act permits transfers outside India except to countries restricted by the Central Government. Where we transfer data abroad we rely on written contracts that require the recipient to protect it to the standard described in this policy.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete or anonymise it.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Demo, contact, download and partner enquiries | 24 months from your last interaction with us, or until you withdraw consent, whichever is earlier |

| Website analytics | 14 months (the analytics provider’s default) |

Where the law requires us to keep records for longer (for example tax, accounting or dispute-related records), we keep only what is needed and only for that purpose.
Stellarview operates management systems certified to ISO/IEC 27001 (information security) and ISO/IEC 27701 (privacy information management). Safeguards include encryption of data in transit, role-based access to lead and applicant data, contractual obligations on service providers, staff training, and regular review of access. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India in the manner and timeframe required by the DPDP Act and Rules.
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
To exercise any right, email privacy@stellarview.ai with the subject line “Data Principal Request”, or write to the address in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within 30 days (the Rules permit up to 90 days). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
The DPDP Act also asks you not to impersonate anyone, not to suppress material information when providing data for an official document, and not to file a false or frivolous grievance.
The Website is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
The Website links to and embeds content from third-party services such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not apply to them.
Stellarview cameras and platforms on highways, toll plazas, city roads and gated premises are deployed and operated by the authority, concessionaire, integrator or premises owner that procured them (the “Operator”). The Operator decides what the system is used for and is the Data Fiduciary for the data it captures; Stellarview processes that data only on the Operator’s documented instructions and under contract, including for hosting, maintenance and support.
If you have a request or complaint about footage, a number plate record, a challan or an access log, please raise it with the Operator, whose details usually appear on the challan or signage. If you contact us instead, we will tell you who the Operator is where we are able to, and forward your request to them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date and version number at the top show when it last changed. For material changes we will place a notice on the Website, and where required we will ask for your consent again.
